French FRANCE 3 celebrated the first anniversary of its collection "UN SIECLE D'ECRIVAINS" ("ONE CENTURY OF WRITERS")
.
The serie will feature portraits of 260 famous writers, from Proust to Beckett, from Kessel to Duras, Pavese, Zweig, JAcob, Miller, Giono, Colette.... Under the direction of Bernard RAPP. The biographies will be broadcast weekly till the year 2000..

this year in Monte Carlo, HAMSTER productions, which won a special award for its fiction "Les allummettes suedoises" ("Safety matches"), was testing for the first time the distribution of its catalogue 's stock (Sentiments, Serie Noire). While more recent series (Navarro, L'instit) are distributed by channels .subsidiaries. Pierre GRIMBLAT was also presenting "LISE ou L'AFFABULATRICE", which was in competition in the fiction category ,( a France 2, France 3 Hamster production and SFP coproduction): after the annexing of Austria by Hitler, Lise finds herself alone in Paris...The film narrates an imaginary lover's growing hold on Lise's life.
